Clean Air Extravaganza
Join the Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in celebrating air quality improvement at the Clean Air Extravaganza. The event will be held on Thursday, May 22nd, 2008 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Todd Wehr Conference Center (1047 N. Broadway).
The event will recognize participants who improve air quality in the following ways:
- Reduce emissions from businesses to improve air quality and minimize the imposition of stricter regulations,
- Improve energy efficiency and economic competitiveness, and
- Educate employees, students, and the public on individual ways to make an impact.
This celebration will feature the annual presentation of the Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air Recognition Awards to honor those businesses and organizations that have undertaken innovative strategies to reduce harmful air emissions.
Invitees include representatives from the over 300 businesses/organizations in Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air, local and state representatives, and all others that participate in clean air initiatives.
