Clean Air Extravaganza
The 2009 Clean Air Extravaganza is a special All Star celebration being held at Miller Park in Milwaukee on July 14th. Come applaud the recipients of the 2008 Recognition Awards and a decade of clean air achieved from previous award recipients. The event will recognize participants who improve air quality in the following ways:
- Reduce emissions from businesses to improve air quality and minimize the imposition of stricter regulations,
- Improve energy efficiency and economic competitiveness, and
- Educate employees, students, and the public on individual ways to make an impact.
This celebration will feature the annual presentation of the Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air Recognition Awards to honor those businesses and organizations that have undertaken innovative strategies to reduce harmful air emissions.
Invitees include representatives from the over 300 businesses/organizations in Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air, local and state representatives, and all others that participate in clean air initiatives.
