It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air
The Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air program is honored to promote the "It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air" campaign, a collaborative effort of the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality, and DOT's Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
Since 1991, these agencies have been working with state departments of transportation and metropolitan planning organizations to help them meet goals for reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality established by the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA 21) and the Clean Air Act." During the next two years (through 2002), the Partners program will work with the USEPA to promote this program through television, radio, & newspaper advertisements and through the public distribution of various educational materials. Return to this page periodically for details on these promotions.
